Antique Desk Lamp

Unique table lamp in the French decor style. Found in Belgium and estimated as early mid-century. The lamp itself is brass/bronze with an elegant design.

The condition of this antique desk lamp is good with no major damage or repairs. The lamp has typical wear like scratches and marks you find with vintage lighting. See detailed pictures

We replaced the old wire with a modern one. The socket has also been replaced with a new threaded one. This new threaded socket has a washer to secure the shade to the lamp.

The 3 screws to hold the shade in place did not work well. The prior owner added the zip ties around the base to help and protect the shade. We left them on since it protects the shade and you don’t see it when placed on the lamp.
