Hand Carved African Statue

This great-looking hand-carved wood statue of a man sitting in thought on a stump is roughly cut out of one solid piece of wood. The prior owner had this wooden statue since the 1950s but was not sure of its origin. Looking online it could possibly be an African statue / tribal art or an Indonesian wood figurine.

This African figurine has a large crack on the side of his head but the head is very solid. See detailed pics. He is also a little wobbly when you first set him down because of the rough carving on the underside. He does have some other minor nicks but not very noticeable.

This one-of-a-kind hand-carved wooden statue will look great in any setting.
