Wall Mounted Hanging Bell

Impressive wall-mounted hanging bell found in France estimated from the early to mid-20th century. This French antique bell including the hanger, clapper, and chain is a thick solid brass/ bronze and was made to last. These brass bells would have hung on the outside of houses and used as church bells. Farmers also had these so customers could ring the bell when they were out in the field working. They also make a great dinner bell to call the kids when food is ready.
