French Antique, Shoehorn

We found this French antique shoehorn at a local market here in Belgium. The prior owner said she purchased it in France at an estate sale and dated it 1920's approx.

We typically find these shoehorns in the shape of dogs but this beetle shape shoehorn is rarer and older.

The shoehorn is cast iron making it the perfect doorstop.

The condition of this shoehorn is good with no major damage or repairs. It does have natural wear like scratches, discoloration, and some very minor surface rust in some areas. See detailed pictures
