Baroque Frame-Portrait Painting

We discovered this lovely portrait painting at a vintage/antique shop here in Belgium. The painting is on canvas and the frame is wood and plaster and we believe its a mid-century vintage painting.

The baroque frame has an elegant design with that period's rich gold color. The miters are solid so it's structurally very strong. The frame does have some scuffs, nicks, and marks, especially on the outside of the frame and corners but nothing major. The canvas is in good vintage condition. See detailed pics.
