As expected with antique terracotta, this piece has small chips, nicks, and areas of missing green paint on all sides, though no large pieces are missing. The inside lip of the hat has a small piece removed, but the hat appears complete and solid when viewed from the top. A small, loose piece of terracotta is audible inside the statue. The item has only been dusted with a compressor and has not been cleaned with water.
