Beautiful antique copper pot found in Belgium estimated the late 1800s to the turn of the century. This copper cauldron has the feature to be able to remove its handle. We assume this was so the kettle could be placed on the table without the handle after heating over the fire. These antique kettles also make great-looking copper planters and are the perfect fireplace decor item.

The condition of this antique cauldron is good with no major damage or repairs. It does have natural wear like lots of dents, scratches, and discoloration that you would expect from an antique kettle. The inside still has some of the tin layer but most of it has worn off over time. Because of this, the kettle has a couple of tiny cracks that allow water to escape. This can easily be sealed with some solder if you want to make it waterproof.
