Crafted from solid brass and featuring a heavy iron handle, this kettle is remarkably sturdy. It is in good antique condition with no major damage or previous repairs. As expected with a piece of this age, it displays a natural patina, including minor dents, scratches, and discoloration that add to its character.
Please note that there is a small micro-crack in the bottom groove; consequently, the kettle will not currently hold water. Such cracks are common in antique kettles and were historically sealed with tin to waterproof them. However, for use as a decorative display piece or for firewood storage, it is perfectly functional exactly as it is.
